Follow these simple steps to connect and
manage your keyboard.
1
Ensure Browser Compatibility
MIDI Pro utilizes the modern Web MIDI API. Currently, this API is fully
supported on Chromium-based browsers. Please ensure you are using Google Chrome,
Microsoft Edge, or Brave. Safari and Firefox are not fully
supported out of the box.
2
Connect via USB
Connect your Yamaha CK61 or CK88 to your computer using a standard USB A-to-B or USB C-to-B cable.
Ensure the keyboard is powered on. Open the Editor Dashboard. The application will prompt for MIDI
permissions. Click "Allow".
3
Sync Your Library
Once connected, select your keyboard from the dropdowns at the top of the editor. Click the
"Sync All from Keyboard" button. The app will fetch all 160 Live Sets directly from
your device. This process takes about 20-30 seconds. Do not unplug during the transfer.
4
Edit and Arrange
Click on any Live Set to open the Deep Editor. You can modify parts, effects, and EQ. Turn on the
"Drag Mode" toggle to easily rearrange your setlist by dragging slots around. Finally, click
"Transmit All" to save the changes back to your keyboard.
